We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a practical, detail-focused professional who can develop reliable mechanical designs, support manufacturing outcomes, and contribute to continuous improvement across projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Solid works software.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
- Conduct engineering calculations, design reviews, and feasibility assessments.
- Work closely with Engineering manager, to deliver practical design solutions.
- Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
- Ensure designs meet relevant quality, safety, performance, and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve product reliability,



manufacturability.

Skills and Experience

- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or fabrication environments.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of materials, tolerances, machining, sheet metal, welding, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and develop clear design documentation.
- Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
