Medical Receptionist – GP Clinic

Part-Time & Casual Positions Available

We are a well-established and busy GP clinic seeking enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionists to join our friendly team. We currently have two opportunities available – one Part-time and one casual position.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and providing a welcoming experience for all patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients in a warm and professional manner
- Managing a high volume of phone calls and appointment bookings




- Processing Medicare, DVA and EFTPOS payments
- Managing patient records and data entry
- Using Best Practice software for appointments and billing
- Liaising with GPs, nurses and allied health professionals
- General administrative and reception duties

About You

The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience in a medical reception role (GP experience highly regarded)
- Experience using Best Practice software (strongly preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- A professional presentation and positive attitude
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
