Reporting to the Managing Partner & General Manager, as the HEAD WC practice leader, leading a team of 6 (4 law clerks+2 admins), you will relish the autonomy+ variety +satisfaction of your strategic high-level 4-dimensional role:

- primarily overseeing, leading, mentoring, training, performance managing your team to ensure the practice is running efficiently and optimally meeting the firm’s standards+expectations;
- client relationship management-including onboarding+ resolving any complaints;
- attendance at Court/PIC as required;
- partaking in business development/marketing supported by management to further grow the practice.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- Are a personal injury SOLICITOR with MINIMUM 5-10+ years’ post-admission experience including in workers compensation (essential);
- Wish to get out of the dull grind (ie day to day grunt work of case management) & elevate yourself to a leadership/practice management role with none of your own personal files;
- have strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation/case law+procedures, proven experience having managed your own WC files from start to finish & solid court/advocacy experience;
- have proven leadership+ outstanding people/client management skills;
- are highly adaptable + proactive+ effective+ results-focused;
- have proven ability to work in a vibrant, busy+ fast-paced environment;
