About the Role

Goodline is seeking an experienced and highly capable Operations Manager to join our Head Office team on the Sunshine Coast.

This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing our shared services functions and ensuring Head Office delivers practical, efficient, and responsive support to operating projects and sites across Australia. Acting as the key link between corporate services and operations, you will drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring our site teams have the support they need to deliver successful project outcomes.

Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, functional leaders, and the executive team, you will lead the development of systems, processes, and service standards that improve business performance while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, operational efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate shared service functions including procurement, accounts, mobilisation, recruitment, payroll and client administration.
- Establish clear service standards, performance expectations, and accountability measures across Head Office support teams.




- Act as the primary liaison between Head Office and operating sites nationwide.
- Work closely with operational leaders to understand challenges, priorities, and support requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, workflows, reporting, and approval processes.

About You

You are a practical and solutions-focused leader who understands the importance of solid business support functions in delivering successful operational outcomes. You are equally comfortable developing strategy, improving systems, and rolling up your sleeves to solve day-to-day operational challenges.

Proven experience in operations management, business services leadership, or shared services management.

Strong background overseeing functions such as accounts, procurement, workforce administration, or business support services.

Experience within mining, construction, maintenance, industrial services, or related industries is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to support operational and project delivery teams through effective business services.

Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop teams and drive accountability.

Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience managing systems, processes, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
