About the Role:

As our Housekeeping Manager, you’ll oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces are clean, welcoming, and consistently up to Nomads’ high standards.

What You’ll Do:

- Lead, train, and inspire a large housekeeping team, consistently coaching and developing staff.
- Be a hands‑on, visible leader who actively drives the team and sets clear expectations.
- Set the standard by leading by example in all aspects of housekeeping.
- Drive consistently high standards of cleanliness, quality, hygiene, and presentation across the property.
- Ensure all areas of the hostel are sparkling, well‑presented, and ready for our guests.
- Create rosters and manage staff schedules efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections and follow up on standards to ensure quality is maintained.
- Coach team members in real time, providing feedback and support to continuously improve performance.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and liaise with suppliers.
- Collaborate with maintenance and front office teams for seamless operations.
- Handle guest feedback professionally, using it as an opportunity to continually improve the guest experience.
- Be hands‑on when needed and support the team during busy periods.
- Build a positive team culture where high standards, accountability, and pride in the job are part of the everyday vibe.





What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in hospitality.
- A hands‑on leader who enjoys being actively involved with their team and leading from the front.
- Someone who can confidently drive high standards of cleanliness, quality, and presentation across a busy property.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop staff consistently while leading by example.
- Someone who is comfortable holding the team accountable and having the conversations needed to maintain standards.
- Knowledge of workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- A proactive, positive, and energetic attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, multicultural environment.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating a outstanding experience for both guests and staff.
