Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is currently seeking a Security Officer to join our team!
This is a unique security role responsible for supporting the safety and security of our team members, guests, animals, and sanctuary grounds.
Working on a one week on, one week off roster, you’ll carry out regular patrols, respond to incidents, assist guests when required, and help maintain a safe and welcoming workplace across the sanctuary.
As a Security Officer, you’ll need to remain calm and professional in a range of situations, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Previous wildlife experience is not required. Full training will be provided, including how to safely respond to common wildlife situations that may occur on site.
This role suits someone who is reliable, observant, confident working independently, and comfortable managing a variety of situations in a unique and rewarding environment.
