VitalCore Support Services – Deception Bay QLD

Seeking compassionate and dedicated support workers to join our team at VitalCore Support Services in Deception Bay, Brisbane Queensland. This is a casual role supporting adults with disabilities and the elderly in our local community. You will play a vital part in helping our clients live independently and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

- Assist with personal care, including showering, grooming, and dressing
- Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry
- Provide social and emotional support, engaging clients in activities and outings
- Advocate for clients and liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Adhere to workplace policies, procedures, and quality standards

What we're looking for

- Relevant qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a related field
- Certificate III in aged care, disability support, or a related field is optimal
- Previous experience working with the elderly or people with disabilities
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working with the elderly or people with disabilities is optimal
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience,



and a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transport
- Current First Aid certification is required at commencement
- Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
