Rubicon Law is a full service law firm with offices throughout Australia. We are looking fora Litigation lawyer with at least 2 years PAE to work within a larger litigation team acting on a broad range of very interesting and complex litigation matters.
About the Role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing matters from inception through to resolution.
- Advise and act for clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder and business disputes, insurance litigation, construction and building disputes, debt recovery, and enforcement proceedings.
- Advise on and manage insolvency matters, including voluntary administrations, liquidations, and bankruptcies (this is not an essential skill but would be useful).
- Prepare all necessary legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and settlement agreements. Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and settlement conferences as required. Briefing counsel where appropriate.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies,
prepare advice for clients, and contribute to the development of effective litigation strategies across commercial, insurance and construction disputes.
About you
- Minimum 2 years of solid litigation experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for litigation
- Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively
