The Role

Part-time | Office-based | Penrith NSW

You’ll be embedded in the day-to-day financial operations of our clients, keeping books tidy, lodgements on track, and everything compliant. This isn't a head down in the corner kind of role, you’ll be communicating with clients, solving problems, and contributing to a team that genuinely cares about the businesses it supports.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients
- Bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll processing and superannuation management
- BAS preparation and lodgement
- Financial reporting and month-end processes
- Liaising with clients to keep records accurate and up to date
- Working within Xero, MYOB, Dext, Lightyear

About you

This role would suit someone who enjoys accurate work,



clear systems and helping business owners feel more in control of their finances.

Essential skills and Experience

- At least 3 years of hands on bookkeeping experience
- Solid working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
- Strong understanding of BAS, GST, and ATO compliance
- Excellent attention to detail
- Great communication skills and a client first attitude
- Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines

Nice to haves

- Experience in construction, hospitality, events, or landscaping
- Diploma of Accounting or higher
- Experience in a bookkeeping or accounting practice (not just in-house)
- Registered BAS Agent (or working towards it)
