About the Position
Caseworker- Cultural Journeyz (OOHC) will provide Casework and Support as well as assist with identifying, establishing and supporting placements for Aboriginal Children and Young people in Out of Home Care and their Carer across the Hunter Region.
This position has the responsibility of Case Managing up to 13 Children and Young People.
This position is a Full-Time role (38 hours per week) and requires caseworker to participate in rostered after-hours on call to provide support when required.

Position Requirements
- Confirmation of Aboriginality
- Working with Children Check Clearance
- National Police Check
- NSW Drivers License
- Ability to participate in 24 hour on-call Roster
- Consent to be placed on the Residential Caseworkers Register

This Position is classed as a Child Related Employment and is subject to relevant Employment Screening.
Remuneration
A remuneration salary package will be paid in accordance with the Social, Community, Homecare and Disability Services Industry Award plus Superannuation, leave loading and Salary sacrifice.
Salary is offered based on experience and qualification, however wages can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
