Roofing Hobart Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our team in Hobart. This is a full-time position based in Hobart TAS 7000. As a Roof Plumber, you will play a crucial role in our business, delivering high-quality roofing and plumbing solutions to our clients across the greater Hobart region. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing roof plumbing systems, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial properties, utilising your expertise to solve complex roofing and plumbing challenges.

What you'll be doing

- Installing and repairing roof plumbing systems, including guttering, downpipes, flashings, and valley systems
- Conducting thorough inspections of roofs and plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional advice on roof plumbing solutions
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Preparing quotations and cost estimates for roof plumbing projects
- Working safely at heights and in various weather conditions
- Using specialist tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
- Collaborating with colleagues and other tradespeople on multi-trade projects
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

What we're looking for

- A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in roof plumbing or plumbing with demonstrated roof plumbing specialisation




- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a roof plumber in a commercial or residential setting
- Current driver's licence
- Strong knowledge of roof plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Competency interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- A solid understanding of building codes and relevant safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and ability to work safely at heights
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices on site
- Preferably, experience with both traditional and up-to-date roofing systems
- Preferably, familiarity with estimating software and project management tools
