About the company/role

This is an exciting opportunity for a part time, Technical Writer to support scientific and engineering projects through the preparation, coordination and management of technical and project documentation. Working closely with scientists, engineers and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring documentation meets quality, compliance, safety and regulatory standards.

The position offers exposure to innovative STEM projects and requires the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain technical and project documentation
- Document project scope, methodologies and operational impacts
- Support project delivery within established frameworks and procedures
- Assess and prioritise documentation requirements for projects and engineering changes
- Coordinate, revise and issue documentation to relevant stakeholders
- Assist with project management activities and regulatory submissions
- Support quality, compliance, safety and governance requirements




- Work collaboratively with technical and project teams

Skills/experience

- Australian citizenship essential and eligibility to obtain and maintain a national security clearance
- Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline or related field
- Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop documentation from technical concepts and requirements
- Experience preparing technical, procedural or project documentation desirable
- Strong organisational and task management skills
- Understanding of quality systems, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive approach to knowledge sharing and collaboration

- On site, part time contract, 24hrs per week
- Pay rate band: $56 – 63. 82 + super (including casual loading) pe hour
