Established cardiology practice seeking an experienced RN to join our supportive, patient-focused team.
The role involves care for patients in a private consulting environment, including assisting cardiologists with investigations and clinical work, and providing coordination, support and follow-up during cardiac and other investigations, and providing support when needed around hospital admissions. The practice is holistic and patient centred, and is an established clinical hub caring for patients in the ACT and southern NSW.
Current AHPRA registration
Current Advanced Life Support and Working With Children certification
Experience in cardiology and/or general medicine
Sound understanding of common medical tests,
cardiac investigations, including ECG, stress tests and echocardiography.
Understanding of the ACT / NSW healthcare system and its parts.
Excellent communication skills and collaborative team approach
Highly regarded (but not essential):
- ECG and Holter analysis
- Experience with cardiac device checks (e.g. pacemakers/ICDs)
We are looking for a proactive, organised clinician who values compassionate care and enjoys working in a specialist practice setting. The role is part time and includes working approx 3 days per week.
