We are currently seeking reliable Trade Assistants to join a busy workshop environment in Richlands. This is a hands-on role with an immediate start for 2 weeks with potential to be extended for the right candidate. You will be assisting with fire protection and industrial piping systems, including hydrants, sprinklers, and pumps, while working alongside experienced tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with fire protection and industrial piping systems
- Support trades working with steel, stainless, and ductile pipes, valves, and fittings
- Basic cutting, threading, and grooving of pipes (under supervision)
- Assist with pipe assembly and installation
- General workshop and fabrication duties
- Manual handling and maintaining a clean work environment

What We're Looking For

- Experience in a similar environment (plumbing, mechanical fitting, or construction)
- Experience using tools such as grinders, drills, and drop saws
- Basic measuring skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Robust focus on safety and teamwork
