About the role

THE ICONIC is looking for an experienced professional to manage the Menswear Accessories category. This 10-month contract focuses on trend curation, vendor negotiation, and data-driven assortment planning to support our commercial objectives. You will work alongside the planning team to optimize stock levels and drive sales performance across our digital platform.

What you'll do

- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for the Menswear Accessories category.
- Negotiate contract terms for both wholesale and commission-based platform vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage brand performance, including the exit of unproductive lines.
- Analyze market trends and data to inform buying decisions and product selection.
- Collaborate with marketing to coordinate promotional activities and go-to-market strategies.
- Maintain accurate records including SKU lists, brand plans, and department matrices.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Ensure all vendor partnerships comply with internal policies and industry regulations.





Requirements

- Proven experience as a Buyer within a high-volume retail setting.
- Ability to interpret complex contracts and manage detailed terms and conditions.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on stakeholder management across finance, operations, and marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable commercial strategies.
- Genuine interest in men's fashion trends.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and onboarding processes.

Nice to have

- Prior experience in e-commerce buying environments.
