About the role

The Transfer and Promotion Unit within the Recruitment and Deployment Division has a fixed term vacancy to 4 July 2027 for a VPS-3 HR Consultant. The position is a team leader for the recruitment support area, and the incumbent will be responsible for the delivery of and supervision of team members responsible for administrative support services in support of the sworn transfer and promotion function. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements. Your duties will include:

- Team supervision.
- Development and maintenance of relationships and support and advice to potential applicants and management.
- Providing high level administrative support.
- Preparation of reports and papers.
- Maintenance of records and data bases.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in or ability to lead a team delivering administrative support functions.
- Positive negotiation and communication skills including the ability to liaise with a range of clientele.
- High level attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise processes and multitask.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.

Further Information

- One (1) x full-time, fixed term position to 4 July 2027 available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
