About the Participant
Our Client is an organised, animated, and fun-loving individual with a fantastic sense of humour and a passion for fast cars and V8 racing. He thrives on routine, enjoys exploring new places, and values spending time in the community. Despite using a wheelchair and being nonverbal, he communicates effectively through a communication board and visual gestures, and will keep you on your toes with his enthusiasm!
We’re looking for Support Workers who are not only reliable and skilled but also share a love for adventure and inclusion. If you’re someone who can bring energy, creativity, and patience to every outing, and you’re excited about helping someone live life to the fullest, you’ll be a great match.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide community access and in-home supports.
- Assist with emails and light admin tasks.
- Accompany our Client to places of interest and fun outings (think V8 races!)
Shifts Available
Monday & Thursday 8:30am-12:30pm (8hrs per week total)
with opportunity for this to increase in the future as rapport is built.
What we offer
Competitive hourly rates: Weekday $37.35, Evening $40.11, Saturday $50.96, Sunday $65.59, Public Holidays $80.01

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with working with clients in the mental health field.
- Great communication skills and a positive, can do attitude.
- Someone who values independence, inclusion, and fun.
You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team. We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions whererequired, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of Clients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings.

To be successful you must…
- Have experience in the disability field

- Have awesome multitasking, prioritising skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Hold a NDIS Worker Screening Card and Working with Children Blue Card
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
