The Opportunity

We are looking for local candidates to join our O&M; team at Wandoan 1 Solar Farm as our Labourer. Play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm’s operations.

What we offer:

$65,000 - $70,000 base salary + super

Expected start date for early September 2026

Additional overtime and public holiday worked paid at award rates

Consistent roster available. Choose to work from the following rosters:

5 days on, 2 days off (Monday to Friday)

4 days on, 3 days off (Monday to Thursday)

8 days on, 6 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday)

Your responsibilities as a General Labourer will be:





Assisting carrying out maintenance checks on solar farm equipment

Maintaining upkeep of site and plant equipment

Providing general site duties to ensure smooth operations

Grounds maintenance of plant/vegetation on site (using mowers, whipper snippers etc.)

Mechanical technical skills are preferred

You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train

To be successful as our General Labourer, you will have:

Experience labouring in a similar field

Experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher

Thrive in a fast-paced environment

Bring a positive can-do attitude and sound communication skills You must have experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher

Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
