BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Helensvale, this role is essential to creating a welcoming first impression for our guests and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our holiday park. As a Receptionist, you will be the face of our organisation, handling guest inquiries, bookings, and general administrative tasks that keep our Park running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting guests and visitors with a warm, professional and helpful demeanour upon arrival
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, including booking data entry and processing payment transactions
- Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to appropriate staff members
- Responding to guest requests and resolving issues promptly and courteously
- Processing new bookings via phone, email and online booking systems
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records of guest information and reservation details
- Providing information about facilities, amenities and local attractions to guests
- Supporting housekeeping and maintenance teams by communicating guest requirements

What we're looking for

- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist guests and create positive experiences
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with clear and professional presentation
- Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with RMS booking systems, email and Microsoft Office applications
- Organisational and time management skills,



with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
- Previous reception or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic and friendly professional attitude
