Capital Power Systems / Gold Coast Generators & Electrical is looking for a motivated electrician who wants to step up and build a career beyond the usual day‑time sparky work.

This is a hands‑on role with real variety. You’ll work across general electrical, commercial and industrial projects, while also gaining exposure to generator installations, backup power systems, fault finding, controls and specialist power solutions. If you want to grow your skills, take on real responsibility, and be part of a solid team doing interesting work, this is the role for you.

The Role

- Switchboard upgrades — up to 630A, with multiple jobs already approved
- Automatic Transfer Switches — up to 1250A, with more projects in the pipeline
- Generator installations — from smaller units through to major projects requiring cranes, transport coordination and complex site logistics
- General electrical works and maintenance — domestic, commercial and industrial
- Fault finding, repairs, upgrades and commissioning across a broad range of electrical systems

For the right person, there is also the opportunity to move deeper into the world of industrial power generation and controls, including:

- Standby generator installations and changeover systems
- Generator and ATS controller diagnosis, upgrades, installation and programming
- PLCs, remote monitoring and control systems




- Load testing and diagnosing mains/generator changeover faults

Turns up on time and takes pride in their work

Wants to learn, improve and build their skills

Can handle a bit of banter and fit in with the team

Is willing to have a go, think through problems, and work across different environments

Has solid hand tool and power tool skills

Generator experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
