We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic who specialises in the servicing and repair of European vehicles to join the team at John St Mechanical Repairs. This is a full-time position based in Wetherill Park, NSW. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be at the heart of our operations, delivering high-quality vehicle repair and maintenance services to our valued customers. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring our customers receive reliable and professional automotive services.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing mechanical faults and performing repairs on mainly european vehicles including Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagon and Porsche
Conducting routine maintenance services
Using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify vehicle issues accurately and efficiently
Replacing and repairing components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems and electrical systems
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Motor Mechanic in a busy workshop workplace
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, braking systems, electrical systems and suspension
Proficiency in using mechanical tools, diagnostic equipment and workshop machinery
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues
Valid driver's licence
Experience with computerised diagnostic systems would be advantageous
