We're looking for a reliable and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and calibration of a variety of weighing equipment. Based in Brisbane, and servicing clients across sites throughout Queensland. You'll need to be flexible, adaptable and committed to quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibration, repair and maintenance of retail, laboratory and industrial weighing applications.
- Conducting on site service work, inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Performing calibrations in accordance with NMI requirements and company procedures.
- Equipment installation and commissioning.
- Preparing accurate service reports, calibration records and job documentation.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
- Providing professional technical support and customer service.
- Maintaining strong positive relationships with customers and service providers.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Background in instrumentation, metrology, or weighing equipment
- Strong electronic diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel based on workload and client needs
