We are seeking skilled PAINTERS to join our project team in Brisbane. IPCQ are a Queensland-based company with work all over Australia and long-term opportunities are available for the right candidate. To be successful, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience and have:
A current White / Blue Construction Industry Induction Card; A positive attitude towards excellence in OHS&E; and Quality Assurance; A keen and enthusiastic approach to your work.
Understand surface preparation and finishes. Be able to understand and complete works to specifications. Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc.
Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers. Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness. Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Erecting scaffolding and ladders. Cleaning equipment and work areas. All successful applicants will be medically fit and able to pass drug and alcohol screening.
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
