About The Team

The Risk & Audit team helps TasNetworks make informed decisions by embedding effective risk management practices across the organisation. We partner with leaders to strengthen organisational resilience, build enterprise risk capability, and support the achievement of our business and strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across all business areas, we facilitate a proactive approach to managing risk, improving risk maturity, and ensuring TasNetworks is prepared to respond to uncertainty and disruption. We are a supportive, collaborative team committed to continuous improvement and delivering practical, value-added outcomes.

About The Role

As a Risk Specialist, you will:

- Partner with business leaders to strengthen enterprise risk management practices and support informed decision-making.
- Lead and facilitate enterprise risk assessments, workshops, and risk discussions to identify, assess, and manage enterprise and operational risks.
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, driving continuous improvement in organisational risk maturity.
- Coordinate and enhance business continuity and resilience activities, including business impact analyses, continuity planning, testing, and exercising.
- Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and the external operating environment to provide meaningful insights that support organisational resilience and strategic planning.
- Develop high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for Executive, Board, and governance committees, providing clear analysis of key risks and opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to promote a positive risk culture and embed effective risk management practices.

Contribute to the review and development of risk policies, procedures, and governance processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose and aligned with organisational objectives.

About You

We’d love to hear about:

- Your experience in enterprise risk management, including the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise risk frameworks and governance practices.
- How you have built organisational risk maturity by partnering with business leaders to embed effective risk management into planning and decision-making.
- Your experience designing and facilitating enterprise risk workshops,



risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Your knowledge of business continuity management, organisational resilience, and continuity planning.
- Your ability to monitor emerging risks and environmental trends and translate complex information into practical insights.
- Your experience preparing concise, high-quality reports and presentations for Executive leadership, Boards, and committees.
- Your ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and foster a positive risk culture across diverse business areas.
- Your tertiary qualifications in business, risk management, governance, commerce, or a related discipline, or significant experience in a similar enterprise risk role.
