Activ Therapy is seeking a passionate, reliable and knowledgeable Accredited Exercise Physiologist with some personal training experience to join our growing allied health team in a subcontractor role across multiple clinic locations in South-West Sydney.

The position is suitable for an Exercise Physiologist/PT looking to build a varied caseload within an established multidisciplinary healthcare business. The successful applicant will work with a mixed client population, including private patients (both rehab and PT), Medicare referrals, workers compensation, CTP, NDIS and other funded clients.

You will provide individualised exercise physiology services focused on functional rehabilitation, chronic disease management, injury recovery, strength and conditioning, and improving clients’ overall health and independence.

The role will initially be offered across selected days and clinic locations, with the opportunity to increase hours as your caseload develops.

You will provide individualised exercise physiology services focused on functional rehabilitation, chronic disease management, injury recovery, strength and conditioning, and improving clients’ overall health and independence.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive Exercise Physiology assessments

- Develop individualised exercise and rehabilitation programs based on client goals, functional capacity and clinical presentation

- Deliver supervised exercise sessions in clinic and gym-based environments

- Support clients with chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation, mobility, strength, balance and functional independence

- Complete progress reviews, clinical notes, reports and relevant documentation

- Communicate professionally with clients, families, insurers, case managers, referrers and other health professionals

- Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary care where required

- Manage your schedule and caseload in consultation with the Activ Therapy team

- Maintain high standards of clinical care, communication and client service

Requirements

- ESSA accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist





- Current qualified indemnity and public liability insurance

- Current First Aid and CPR certification

- Current National Police Check

- Working with Children Check

- Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

- Strong communication and rapport-building skills

- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload

- Excellent clinical documentation and time-management skills

- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development

Experience with workers compensation, CTP, NDIS, Medicare, chronic disease management or multidisciplinary private practice is desirable but not essential.

New graduates with strong communication skills, initiative and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
