Experienced Support Worker Community and Support at Home
We are seeking a fun and compassionate, skilled experienced Support Workers or EN's to join our team as a High Intensity Support Worker working in the Redcliffe area. This role involves providing person-centred care and clinical support to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring safety, dignity, and independencewhile at home and within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with individual support plans.
Provide high intensity daily living supports, including:
PEG feeding and nutritional monitoring
Bowel care and catheter management
Seizure management and emergency response
Insulin administration and diabetes monitoring
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with NDIS Practice Standards.
Promote independence and wellbeing through respectful and empowering support.
We have a variety of shifts on offer, across mornings, afternoons and active night shifts and sleepovers, 7 days. This exciting prospect is initially offered on a casual basis, with the view to go permanent within the next few months.
About You
A fun and positive attitude
If applicable, Current registration with APHRA.
Experience in disability or community care settings (preferred).
understanding of high intensity support requirements under the NDIS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current First Aid and CPR
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
NDIS Worker Screening Check and compliance with NDS Code of Conduct.
