About the Role

This is not a traditional restaurant position. Based onsite in Wacol, this role sits within Moco’s Procurement team and partners closely with Sales and leadership to deliver high-quality food experiences that support commercial conversations and internal capability.

The Chef is responsible for planning and executing food for monthly team BBQs, leadership meetings, advisory board sessions and supplier engagement events. This includes showcasing priority products and seasonal ranges, contributing to product knowledge sessions, and ensuring every event reflects Moco’s standards of quality, presentation and professionalism. The role operates three set days per week (with flexibility across days and times), and we are open to expanding to full-time for the right candidate.

About You

You are a trade-qualified Chef who takes pride in your craft and understands that food can influence more than just a plate. You enjoy creating experiences that feel thoughtful, polished and purposeful, and you bring strong organisation and planning skills to everything you do.

You are comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments. You communicate confidently with stakeholders, manage your time effectively, and maintain high standards in food safety, presentation and kitchen operations. You bring professionalism without ego, and consistency without being asked.

Skills, Experience & Attributes





- Trade qualified Chef (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
- Experience in professional kitchen environments.
- Experience in event, corporate or hospitality catering environments.
- Strong culinary planning and execution capability.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Sound understanding of food safety, WHS and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage food ordering, stock control and minimise waste.
- Work within Moco’s brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Wacol, with plenty of on-site parking available
