We are looking for an experienced full-time Medical Receptionist who enjoys working in a busy specialist practice and takes pride in providing outstanding patient care and customer service. Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Greeting patients and providing a warm, professional first impression.
- Managing incoming calls and responding to patient enquiries.
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
- Processing patient billing, payments and Medicare claiming.
- Assisting with Holter Monitor and HeartBug fittings (full training provided).
- Liaising professionally with hospitals, referring doctors and allied health providers.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, correspondence and administrative documentation.




- Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- At least two years' experience in reception or administration (specialist practice experience will be highly regarded).
- Excellent written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks in a busy environment.
- A calm, skilled and composed approach when working under pressure.
- Experience using medical practice software is essential; experience with Gentu will be highly regarded.
- A collaborative, flexible attitude and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team.
- Flexibility to assist with covering staff leave when required.
