The Prospect
As the APS6 Property & Security Officer, you'll support the delivery of property, facilities and protective security functions, ensuring workplaces, assets and security arrangements remain secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing property, facilities and accommodation activities.
- Supporting the delivery of protective security arrangements across physical, personnel and information security.
- Providing practical advice on property, facilities and security matters while identifying and managing risks.
- Coordinating procurement activities,
contract administration and service provider performance.
- Supporting governance, compliance, reporting, audits and committee processes.
- Building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives across Corporate Services.
You'll bring
- Experience in property, facilities, security or corporate services.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in procurement, contract management and contractor oversight.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality services and driving continuous improvement.
The following will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
- Experience administering personnel security clearances and liaising with AGSVA.
Security Requirement
Applicants must hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
