About the company

Calleo is partnering with a local Canberra-based consultancy with an established network of clients across the public and private sectors nationally, and an established specialisation in the Financial Systems space. This organisation has recently signed a new contract to support a national business with a multi-year SAP S/4HANA migration, moving off ECC6. It's early days on the project, with potential for the right person to grow with the project and organisation.

About the role

A hands-on Junior Finance Systems Consultant role supporting a major SAP S/4HANA migration. You'll bridge finance and IT, working closely with the project team and developing your skills across both domains. Full training provided, this role is designed to grow the right person into a fully-fledged Finance Systems Consultant over time.

Duties





- Support transition from ECC6 to S/4HANA
- Liaise with project team on system and finance needs
- Test and validate SAP financial processes
- Assist with month end close and reporting
- Build knowledge across finance systems and consulting practices

Skills and experience

- 2-5 years experience in finance, accounting or a consulting environment
- Big 4 or mid-tier consulting background highly regarded
- SAP exposure desirable, not essential, full training provided
- Strong Excel skills, comfortable with finance systems
- Australian citizenship required for clearance eligibility
- Active AGSVA security clearance ideal, NV1 highly regarded
- Growth mindset and genuine eagerness to develop within a consulting environment
