We are seeking motivated individuals to join our well-established team in providing supports across multiple properties, including group homes and 1:1 supports. Offering permanent part-time and casual positions, this role will see you supporting participants in their homes and community within the Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley region, in particular in Blacksmiths, Belmont, Mount Hutton & Cessnock.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Working within our SIL services, you will bring commitment to delivering person-centred support to our participants to achieve their goals. You will assist anywhere between 3 to 5 participants within a shared home with daily life tasks, medication management, assistance with meal times and personal care tasks. We are looking to fill part-time contracts ranging between 30 to 52 hours per fortnight with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts on an as needs basis as well as casual vacancies. This is ideal for those who have the flexibility and availability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnights (sleepover shifts included) both weekdays and weekends.

1:1 Supports

Our ideal candidates are kind natured with a mature mindset, bringing a wealth of disability experience supporting clients in a 1:1 capacity. You will be providing supports to a vibrant and active female participant working across mornings, afternoons and evenings along with weekend work. There will be a robust focus on providing person-centred support assisting our client with attending appointments, involvement in community-based activities including swimming, and engaging in skill building and personal care tasks.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be a passionate individual dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those with disability. In addition to this, you will have:





- Genuine desire to work within the disability sector and provide exceptional quality support to our participants.
- Experience working 1:1 with participants.
- Confidence using technical platforms to complete shift notes, incident reporting and electronic timesheets.
- Ability to work in partnership with our participant and their support networks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity to promote and support activities for participants.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to be available to attend a paid training program upon commencement if successful, commencing end of August covering a two-week period.

Successful applicants will also be required to provide a cleared NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, Driver Licence and valid working rights.
