This is a full-time Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic role with N & P Heavy Mechanical Pty Ltd, located in Yatala, Queensland. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles to the highest standard, ensuring they remain safe and roadworthy.
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles such as Trucks and Trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Replacing worn or faulty parts, components and accessories
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards
- Contributing to a safe and organised workshop environment
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Cert 3 Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
- Experience servicing and repairing heavy commercial vehicles
- Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Current driver's licence
