First Year Apprentice - Mechanical Engineering (Compressed Air Systems)
Start your mechanical engineering career with a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in industrial compressed air systems, including the design, production, installation and servicing of compressors, air treatment equipment and storage solutions. This is a hands-on role where you'll learn from experienced tradespeople and gain real industry skills from day one.
About the Role
As a First Year Mechanical Engineering Apprentice, you will:
- Assist in the assembly, manufacture and testing of compressed air systems
- Learn to service, maintain and repair a variety of compressor technologies
- Support installation teams on customer sites
- Work in a modern workshop with skilled technicians and engineers
- Build strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Genuinely interested in mechanical engineering or industrial equipment
- Motivated, reliable and eager to learn
- Comfortable with hands-on work
- A good communicator and team player
- Able to commit to a full-time apprenticeship
- Completed Year 10 or higher
