Position overview
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in RNA engineering to develop RNA-based regulatory circuits for biomedical applications. The core project focuses on self-activating mRNAs that sense specific intracellular transcript signatures and activate translation only in target cells. The longer-term goal is a new strategy for cancer-selective therapies with reduced side effects by encoding specificity directly into RNA regulatory logic. The role includes contributions across research, education, and service, and involves mentoring students while supporting a respectful, productive workplace culture.
