About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Product Designer to join a multidisciplinary agile delivery team focused on enhancing complex digital products and customer experiences. You will play a pivotal role in translating business objectives, technical requirements, and user insights into intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital solutions.
Working closely with product managers, developers, business stakeholders, and researchers, you will contribute throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through to design validation and delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, collaborating across teams, and creating user-centred experiences that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Role: Product Designer
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Daily Rate: $600.00 to $650.00 + Super
Start Date and Duration: 1st September 2026 - 11 month contract
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive user experiences through research, wireframing, prototyping, testing and iterative design practices.
- Facilitate and actively participate in agile design sprints and cross-functional workshops.
- Produce low and high-fidelity designs using Figma and established design systems.
- Develop reusable components and contribute to maintaining scalable design systems.
- Translate complex business processes,
technical rules and user requirements into clear design solutions.
- Conduct user interviews, usability testing and other research activities to validate concepts and improve experiences.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative research findings to identify opportunities for product improvement.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation.
- Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria and functional requirements within Jira.
- Document research findings, design rationale and project decisions using Confluence.
- Ensure all digital experiences align with accessibility standards, inclusive design principles and usability best practice.
- Support product discovery activities, stakeholder workshops and co-design sessions.
- Present design concepts and recommendations to internal stakeholders while incorporating constructive feedback.
- Monitor design quality throughout delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed of emerging UX, UI and digital design trends, tools and best practices.

About You
- Minimum 3–4 years' experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex enterprise products, digital platforms or business systems.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma, including prototyping, component libraries and design systems.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design methodologies and human-centred design principles.
- Experience planning and conducting user research, usability testing and design validation activities.
- Ability to simplify complex business rules and technical requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience preparing user stories, documenting requirements and maintaining project artefacts in Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and prioritisation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience working with Salesforce platforms or Salesforce Lightning Design System is advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant qualifications in Product Design, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Digital Design or a related discipline are highly regarded.
- Full Australian working rights are essential. Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. Applicants must hold unrestricted Australian work rights, permanent residency, Australian citizenship or a long-term valid work visa permitting full-time employment.
