Visa2land Pty Ltd JKT is in search for an Engineering Technologist with a strong background in Electrical and Telecommunication systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with coordination and oversight of project activities, ensuring the successful delivery of network installation and upgrade projects across commercial and residential sites. Task & responsibilities

Install and configure Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), routers, and related hardware at customer premises (residential and commercial). Establish delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables, and fittings in coordination with engineering and project teams. Determine the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines, and other electrical equipment to meet operational needs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, troubleshoot, and validate electronic telecommunication networks and systems. Diagnose and replace faulty electrical components and monitor ongoing site performance to ensure reliability. Ensure all installations, configurations, and modifications comply with relevant electrical and telecommunications standards and regulations.

Liaise with field managers and area supervisors to obtain regular updates, resolve technical challenges, and align on project progress. Promote and adhere to all Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental policies,



maintaining a safe and sustainable workplace.

Apply new and existing technologies to enhance network infrastructure and service delivery across multiple deployment projects. Use statistical tools and network performance tests such as PET, MLT, SELT, TDR, and PON Meter Tests, and conduct open/short circuit diagnostics. Support project planning, task allocation, and timely project delivery within defined budgets and technical specifications.

Qualification & experience

Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Communications Engineering, or related field. Strong knowledge of telecom systems, network infrastructure, and electrical design. Excellent project coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.

Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and communication systems. Knowledge of industry standards, WHS, and compliance practices. Valid driver's licence with ability to travel to project sites.
