OA Plumbing is looking for an experienced Drainer / Excavation Operator to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident working on drainage, excavation, stormwater, sewer, and underground plumbing works, and who holds the relevant excavation tickets or machine operating experience.

we are looking for a reliable and experienced Drainer / Excavation Operator to join our team immediately.

Your Week Might Include

- Drainage works across residential, commercial and renovation projects
- Excavation for sewer, stormwater and underground services
- Installing, repairing and replacing drainage systems
- Digging, trenching, bedding and backfilling
- Operating excavators and other machinery safely and efficiently
- Stormwater and sewer drainage works
- Working alongside plumbers, estimators and project teams
- Reading plans and completing works to specification
- Site preparation, set-out and clean-up
- Assisting with drainage upgrades, repairs and maintenance works

What You’ll Need

- Experience in drainage, sewer, stormwater and excavation works
- Excavation ticket and/or relevant machine operation tickets
- Manual driver’s licence
- White Card
- Strong understanding of safe excavation practices
- Ability to operate machinery confidently and safely
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, reliable and well-presented
- Great attitude and strong work ethic
- Plumbing or drainage experience highly regarded
