About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our expanding Estimating Department. This is an exciting prospect for someone looking to grow within the construction industry while being supported by a team of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed tenders, estimates, and full scopes of work
- Recommend alternative products and pricing options to meet client budgets
- Provide precise cost estimates and planning advice based on client specifications
- Use On-Center or BuildSoft Take Off software (training provided)
- Liaise daily with clients and suppliers to ensure clear communication and up-to-date information
- Keep clients informed on project quote progress
- Collaborate closely with senior estimators and receive full on-the-job training

Requirements
- Estimating experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential
- A strong understanding of construction materials and techniques is preferred
- Sound cost planning skills and current knowledge of market ratesProficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full working rights in Australia
