The Role

We are seeking reliable and committed operators to work in our thriving production facility at Carole Park, manufacturing automotive batteries to be distributed Australia-wide.

Your role will be to operate machines in order to manufacture and produce the more than 1 million battery products made each year. You will be working in a team and fully-trained in how to operate the equipment. As you train and learn the machines, you will be rewarded with pay increases for demonstrating your ability to operate the equipment.

Many of the roles on offer here work in a lead-risk setting.



Specific PPE and compliance requirements apply to these roles as well as having regular blood tests undertaken on site by our nurse.

The positions are full-time, permanent working across Day or Afternoon Shift

Full week of induction on day shift for first week

Pre Employment Medical Required

- $3,000 sign-on bonus
- Cash allowances (where applicable), including working with lead allowance, forklift allowance, 6S allowance, first aid allowance etc.
- All work gear, boots and PPE provided to you, uniforms laundered for you
- Discounted batteries

Requirements

- Experience in a similar manufacturing / process worker role (desirable)
- Forklift license and experience (desirable)
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to demonstrate solid mechanical aptitude
- Clean-shaven to wear respirator safely during shift (for many roles)
- Ability to get yourself to Carole Park reliably each day (no public transport is available)

Process

Successful candidates must be available to attend an interview and site visit. An offer of employment will be subject to successful completion of company medical assessment and reference check.
