The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting commercial decision-making across a growing national business. This role blends technical accounting with business partnering and people leadership, making it a genuinely rewarding position for someone looking to grow their career in a rapid-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts across multiple sites, including variance analysis and KPI reporting
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cashflow, and CAPEX reporting to support strategic decision‑making
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including complex journals and inter‑company transactions
- Ensure compliance across BAS, FBT, PAYG, payroll tax, and superannuation obligations
About You
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- 3-5 years' experience in a Financial Accountantor similar role
- Solid technical accounting capability across reporting, compliance, and month‑end processes
- Experience in a multi‑site or hospitality/entertainment environment highly regarded
