LUMA Gelato is looking for one more enthusiastic and experienced team member to join our Mooloolaba store.

At LUMA, good energy, a strong work ethic and excellent customer service are essential. We are looking for someone who is hard-working, reliable and genuinely enjoys creating a great experience for customers.

Previous experience in the hospitality, café or restaurant industry is required.

Your role

- Welcome customers and guide them through our self-serve gelato experience

- Deliver friendly, attentive and efficient customer service

- Create a positive, energetic and memorable atmosphere

- Keep the gelato machines, topping bar and customer areas clean and beautifully presented

- Refill toppings, sauces, cups and other supplies

- Process payments accurately and confidently

- Assist with opening, closing and general store-cleaning duties

- Follow all food-safety, hygiene and store procedures

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience in hospitality, cafés or restaurants

- A hard-working and proactive attitude





- Positive energy and a naturally friendly personality

- Strong customer-service and communication skills

- Reliable, responsible and punctual

- Comfortable working efficiently in a busy workplace

- Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation

- Willingness to learn, improve and receive feedback

- Availability for afternoon and evening shifts

- Weekend availability is essential

- Availability during school holidays and public holidays is highly regarded

Our store operates between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm, so applicants must be available for a combination of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
