Podmed Podiatry Centre is a well-established private podiatry practice located in Bondi Junction, Sydney. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Podiatrist to join our clinical team on a full-time basis.

This role is suited to a podiatrist with approximately 3-4 years of clinical experience who is confident working independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

About the role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Conducting comprehensive podiatric assessments and clinical examinations

- Assessing gait and lower limb biomechanics

- Diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and biomechanical foot and lower limb conditions

- Prescribing, fitting and reviewing custom foot orthoses

- Providing general podiatric care including nail and skin treatments

- Managing high-risk patients, including diabetic foot assessments and wound care

- Performing minor podiatric procedures, including nail surgery where appropriate

- Developing evidence-based treatment plans

- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records





- Educating patients regarding footwear, injury prevention and ongoing foot health

- Liaising with general practitioners and other allied health professionals to coordinate patient care

- Assisting in mentoring junior clinicians where appropriate and contributing to continuous improvement within the practice

Essential requirements

Applicants must have:

- Bachelor of Podiatry (or equivalent recognised qualification)

- Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Podiatry Board of Australia

- Approximately 3-4 years' clinical experience in private practice or a comparable setting

- Demonstrated experience in musculoskeletal podiatry and biomechanics

- Experience prescribing and managing foot orthoses

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to independently manage a patient caseload
