About the Role

The Vice President, Real Assets ensures real asset funds and fund managers receive accurate, timely accounting services, manages client relationships against SLAs and accounting standards, and drives staff development and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

- Coordinate new business on-boarding and fund launches, including reviewing key documents and setting up fund structures on the system platform
- Oversee monthly/quarterly reporting, NAV calculations, financial statements and capital account statements
- Manage capital calls, distributions, capital transfers and fund payments
- Lead the external audit process and ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies and SOC 1 controls
- Monitor budgets, resourcing, accruals and billing




- Own client relationships, service levels and quarterly Service Review packs, including risk assessments and action plans
- Drive process improvements and manage risk, escalating issues per established frameworks

Team Leadership

- Lead an onshore/offshore team, including recruitment, coaching and performance management
- Set goals, give regular feedback and support staff development
- Monitor team performance against client SLAs and financial targets

About You

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, plus progress toward CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent
- 5-7+ years in fund administration, accounting or audit, including 4+ years in Real Assets
- Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP knowledge, with financial statement and consolidation experience
- 4+ years' experience managing or leading a team
- Excellent client relationship, communication and project management skills
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Yardi or similar real estate systems experience highly desirable
