My Village Bakehouse is looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated Full-Time Baker / Pastry Chef to join our close-knit family. We take pride in serving our local community with handcrafted breads, delicate pastries, and sweet treats made from scratch every day—and we need you to help us keep the ovens hot!

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Craft & Create: Bake a daily variety of artisan breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, and seasonal specialties.

- Master the Dough: Scale, mix, shape, proof, and bake according to our signature recipes (while bringing your own creative flair!).

- Quality Assurance: Maintain our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.

- Kitchen Pride: Keep a clean, organised, and safe workspace in compliance with food safety standards.

- Team Synergy: Work along side a friendly team to manage morning prep, inventory, and kitchen workflow.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience:



Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial bakery or kitchen setting.

- Skill: Solid understanding of yeast doughs, laminated pastries, batter mixing, and baking techniques.

- Early Riser: Comfortable working early morning shifts (because the best bread happens before sunrise!).

- Passion & Detail: A genuine love for food quality and an eye for the little details.

- Team Player: Strong work ethic, reliable, and excited to contribute to a bustling local spot.
