The Role

AsDepot Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day depot operation for ourTasmania branch, reporting to theBranch General Manager (BGM). This is afixed-term role through to April 2027covering two key areas:

Operations:service delivery, safety, fleet standards, cost control, continuous improvement
Relationships:key customer engagement, service recovery, stocktakes, partnering with Sales and internal teams

You’ll be a visible leader who sets standards,



coaches your team and builds partnerships that protect retention and drive growth. Business travel within Tasmania and to Melbourne may be required to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead depot service operations and manage the performance of a small onsite team.
- Manage depot costs and contribute to monthly reporting with commercial insight

Drive service performance measures includingDIFOT, debrief completion and service reliability

Maintain strong depot standards (clean, secure, organised) and embed5S/LEANpractices

Relationship management

- Build trusted customer relationships through key account visits and proactive service conversations
- Lead customer stocktakes and ensure stock management practices are followed consistently
- Resolve service issues quickly and professionally, reducing escalations
- Partner with Sales to support smooth onboarding/installation of new customers and identify upsell opportunities
- Maintain accurate account records and follow national stocktake procedures

Business travel within Tasmania and to Melbourne may be required to meet business needs.

What We’re Looking For

- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Proven leadership in depot, service or logistics operations (or similar)
- Proven people leadership experiences
- Confident relationship-builder who can handle challenging conversations and resolve conflict
- Confident using systems and data (MS Office/Excel plus operational and customer systems) to lift performance
