About the Role

We're looking for an MSP Technician to join our team. You'll be the face of BMC for many of our clients, providing remote and on-site support, resolving tickets, and helping deliver projects across our full service stack.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Providing level 1/2 helpdesk support to business clients via phone, email and remote tools
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams)




- Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and business applications
- Supporting network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-FI, VLANs)
- Assisting with cybersecurity work including Essential 8 alignment, EDR and MFA rollouts
- On-site visits to clients across the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney
- Documenting work clearly in our ticketing system and keeping clients informed

About You

Essential:

- Australian resident with full working rights
- Outstanding customer service - you genuinely enjoy helping people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical issues in plain English
- Self-motivated with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple tickets
- Solid hands-on IT experience (helpdesk, desktop support or similar)
- Current NSW driver's licence and reliable transport for client site visits

Highly regarded:

- Living in the Blue Mountains or Western Sydney
- Previous experience working for a managed service provider (MSP)
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID administration experience
- Networking knowledge (UniFi, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks such as the Essential 8
- Industry certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft MS-900/AZ-900, or similar)
- Experience with RMM, PSA/ticketing tools and remote support platforms
