Project Manager / Construction Manager - High-End Architectural Builds

About the company

A multi-award-winning Sydney builder is looking for a Construction Manager to take ownership of their live project list - a tight portfolio of 3-6 architectural renovations and new builds running between $1m and $5m apiece.

This role will suit someone that's been sitting in a Site Manager, Project Manager or Construction Manager seat and is ready to run the whole lot. You won't be parked on one job - you'll be floating across multiple sites, keeping projects moving and being the eyes and ears the Director trusts on the ground.

Ideally you'll have a trade background (not essential), solid construction knowledge, read plans fluently and pick up scope gaps, design clashes and constructability issues well in advance.

The Work

A portfolio of 3-6 live projects at any one time, between $1m and $5m each.

Architecturally designed renovations and new builds across Sydney.

Moving between sites daily - not a desk-bound role or a single-site posting.

Considered work for clients that care about getting it right.

Direct involvement from feasibility through to handover.

Day to Day

Running multiple projects at once - timelines, budgets, quality and quality control.





Floating between sites to keep programmes honest and problems small.

Reading plans and reviewing scopes of works to flag problems before they hit site.

Leading site teams, subbies and consultants.

Tracking costs, holding margin and calling out risk early.

Managing clients, architects, engineers and councils.

Setting and protecting programmes and calling milestones.

Bringing your own thinking to how the business operates.

About You

Currently sitting in a SM, PM or CM role on high-end residential (or ready to step up).

Strong record managing multiple projects at once - comfortable spinning plates across sites.

A design brain - you understand what the architect is trying to do and protect the intent through the build.

Sharp commercial head and confident with PM software.

Familiar with the Eastern Suburbs council process.
