Flexible Casual Position| Diverse Caseload | Approx. 0.5–1.0 FTE (19–38 hours per week)

Background

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist looking for variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community?

UQ Health Care is seeking a motivated and adaptable Physiotherapist to join our team on a casual basis, supporting services across our sites located in Toowong and Meadowbrook.

This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician with at least 3 years' experience who enjoys working across a broad scope of physiotherapy practice and is confident in managing a diverse caseload.

We are an interdisciplinary allied health service that delivers chronic disease management, lifestyle management, group programs, and preventative health services to our community.

About the Role

As a Casual Physiotherapist, you will work across a variety of clinical settings and patient presentations, including:

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy

Chronic disease management and GP Management Plans (Care Plans)

WorkCover Queensland clients

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients

NDIS participants (where applicable)





Group exercise and rehabilitation programs

Health promotion and preventative health programs

Functional assessments and exercise prescription

Multidisciplinary Case Conference

Sstudent supervision

Participatation in the development of cutting-edge models of care.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist

Minimum 3 years' post-graduate clinical experience

Experience managing a broad musculoskeletal caseload

Experience working with GP Care Plans/Chronic Disease Management patients

Experience with WorkCover and/or DVA clients/NDIS participants.

Confidence facilitating individual and group-based exercise programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness and ability to work across both Toowong and Meadowbrook sites

Experience in persistent pain management

Experience in chronic disease or community health settings

Experience supervising students or early career clinicians

Training in exercise rehabilitation, healthy ageing, or lifestyle medicine
