Requirements
- Proven site foreman experience — 5+ years of on tools experience in construction, civil, or plumbing environments
- Manage daily site operations and coordinate trades.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on time.
- Monitor quality, productivity and site compliance.
- Coordinate materials, plant and subcontractors.
- Assist with defect rectification.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and ensure works are delivered to specification
- Experience with site laser levels to setup and mark out relevant works
- Experience managing basic WHS compliance and maintaining a safe work environment
- Reasonable admin and reporting capability — daily logs, site reports, toolbox talks
- Construction White Card required
- Driver’s license required
- Provide own general carpentry/construction tools i.e. drills, hand tools, hammer drill, circular saw etc
- Site setup and pack down
- Site maintenance and tidiness
- Receive deliveries
- Preparing for tasks and contractors
- I.e.
- Setup profiles and stringlines
- Mark out installation locations
- Mark out trenches and formwork
- etc
- Manage labour
- Pickup materials and equipment
- Factory runs
- Hire equipment
- Material supplier pickup when needed
- Contractor quality control
- Checking measurements, RL’s, sizes etc
- Contractor sign Ons and inductions
- Manage site compliance
- Check workers PPE and qualifications
- Daily pre-starts
- Reporting
