As we continue to grow, we're looking for an organised, motivated and proactive Inventory Manager to become an integral part of our team.
This is far more than a traditional stockroom role. You'll oversee our inventory operations while playing a critical role in our online business, ensuring every customer receives the premium experience Laced is known for.
About the Role
The Inventory Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all inventory, stockroom operations and online order fulfilment.
Working closely with management and our retail team, you'll oversee inventory accuracy, receive and process deliveries, manage stock movement, coordinate replenishment and ensure every online order is picked, packed and dispatched accurately and as quickly as possible.
You'll also be responsible for providing customer service relating to our online business, assisting customers with order enquiries, returns and exchanges while maintaining the friendly, professional service Laced is known for.
This role requires someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys improving systems, takes ownership of their responsibilities and genuinely cares about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Providing an exceptional online customer experience is one of the most important aspects of this role.
You will be responsible for ensuring every online order is fulfilled quickly, accurately and presented to the highest standard.
Responsibilities include:
Pick, pack and dispatch online orders with speed and accuracy.
Process orders for same-day dispatch wherever possible.
Prioritise express, click & collect and urgent orders.
Carefully package every order to reflect the premium Laced experience.
Inspect products before dispatch to ensure quality standards are met.
Ensure the correct size, colour and product are packed every time.
Coordinate courier collections and shipping requirements.
Resolve inventory discrepancies before dispatch to prevent delays.
Maintain accurate inventory between our online store and physical retail store.
Assist with click & collect orders where required.
Customer Service & Online Support
The Inventory Manager is also responsible for delivering exceptional customer service for our online customers.
Responsibilities include:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer service emails relating to online orders.
Assist customers with order enquiries, tracking requests and delivery updates.
Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policy.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Liaise with courier companies regarding delivery issues where required.
Keep customers informed of delays or inventory issues affecting their orders.
Escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
Ensure all customer communication reflects the friendly, knowledgeable and professional service Laced is known for.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory across all sales channels.
Perform regular stocktakes and cycle counts.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Monitor inventory movement and identify irregularities.
Process stock adjustments accurately.
Ensure inventory integrity is always maintained.
Minimise stock loss through strong inventory control.
Stockroom Operations
Maintain a clean, organised and highly effective stockroom.
Develop systems that maximise efficiency and accessibility.
Ensure products are stored safely and logically.
Manage seasonal stock movement and storage.
Continuously improve stockroom organisation and workflow.
Receiving Deliveries
Receive, unpack and process incoming deliveries.
Report supplier shortages or damaged goods.
Process stock into inventory systems accurately.
Prepare products for pricing, merchandising and online release.
Ensure new deliveries reach the shop floor and website as quickly as possible.
Shop Floor Replenishment
Replenish stock to the sales floor throughout the day.
Ensure popular products and sizes remain available.
Support product launches and promotional events.
Communicate low stock or replenishment requirements with management.

Is physically capable of lifting cartons and working on their feet throughout the day.
